De 10h à minuit le 16 mars prochain, la chaleureuse petite salle du café Le Cagibi résonnera aux sons de musiciens d’ici et d’ailleurs. Mettant en vedette 14 ensembles d’improvisateurs, ainsi que des invités provenant des États-Unis et du Mexique, Mardi Spaghetti se fera certainement entendre d’un bout à l’autre de la rue Saint-Viateur!
Tous les mardis depuis deux ans, Mardi Spaghetti invite des musiciens, ainsi que des danseurs, des projectionnistes et des poètes, à partager la scène tout en improvisant. Depuis, plus de 200 artistes, de 20 à 75 ans, provenant de l’est à l’ouest canadien, de l’europe, des états-unis et du mexique y ont participé. Mais avant tout, ce qui a rendu succès à la série hebdomadaire, est le dévouement et la contribution des musiciens locaux, qui ont donnés à Montréal une identitée propre et une réputation internationale dans le milieu des musiques improvisées.
Pour y découvrir 14 ensembles d’improvisateurs tout en dégustant un savoureux macaroni au fromage et en visionnant une projection de photos prises lors des 100 soirées inoubliables de Mardi Spaghetti, nous vous donnons rendez-vous au café Le Cagibi le 16 mars prochain. De plus, il y aura ainsi un concert Skype, en direct du Centre Banff, et la radio CKUT 90,3 FM sera sur place et diffusera de midi à 14h.
